Dr. Tyler grew up in Provo and attended Timpview High School, Utah Valley University, and Brigham Young University before dental school. He later attended the University of Louisville, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). He began his dental career at Ashman Dental, a practice his father, James D. Ashman DDS started decades before. Dr. Tyler has been providing excellent dental care in Provo for over 30 years. Dr. Tyler served a LDS mission in Mexico where he became fluent in Spanish. He stays up to date with the latest equipment and technology to provide the best care for his patients. Dr. Tyler and his wife Tiffany have built their home and raised their family in Mapleton. Together they have 5 beautiful children, two son in-laws, and one daughter in-law. He loves being outdoors and spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and golfing. In the summer, you can find him behind a boat waterskiing in Lake Powell. He is passionate about dentistry and loves seeing and caring for his patients.
