Dr Brently Grimard

A Colorado Native, Dr. Brently Grimard was raised by his single mom, and was the first person in his family to complete college. As a teenager Dr. Grimard had interest in becoming a pharmacist, but his personal experience with his own orthodontics and encouragement from his family dentist led him down a path to dentistry instead. Dr. Grimard finished his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Colorado State University, and went on to Dental School at the University of Colorado. There he was drawn to the surgical aspect of dentistry, and found his ability to remain calm and steady in high pressure situations to be a great fit for periodontology. After finishing his DDS, Dr. Grimard worked for a few years as a general dentist, before being accepted into the top periodontology program in the country at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center San Antonio. Dr. Grimard completed a Certificate and Master's Degree in Periodontology, and has been recognized by the American Board of Periodontology for his demonstrated excellence in his field. Dr. Grimard wanted to return and start a practice in his home state of Colorado, and has been leading the team at Periodontics & Dental Implants Brently A. Grimard DDS, MS since 2008.
