Dr. Marco was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. He witnessed the significant disparities in access to affordable healthcare while growing up. This early experience inspired him to pursue a career in healthcare to address similar challenges in the United States. Dr. Marco pursued his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at The University of Texas in San Antonio. He then continued his education at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is an active member of both the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Marco enjoys a variety of activities including hiking, running, lifting, baking, exploring new restaurants and cafes, and indulging in professional photography of landscapes and people.
