Dr Michael Folan

Dr. Michael Folan has lived in the Boston area his whole life. He was born in Cambridge to parents who emigrated from the Aran Islands (Ireland). Dr. Folan grew up in Somerville and attended Matignon High School. He met his wife (Laurie) the first day of classes at Boston College, where they graduated together in 1977. Dr. Folan attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and earned his doctorate degree in 1981. After earning his dental degree, Dr. Folan went directly into private practice in Dorchester. His current office at 540 Gallivan Boulevard has all the latest equipment and technologies. Dr. Folan loves dentistry and takes pride in helping his patients keep healthy smiles. He is a member of the MDS and ADA and continuously takes courses to remain current.
