Hello, my name is Dr. Michael “Dr. Mick” Dana. I attended Black Hills State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in composite science in 1969 and a Bachelor of Science in education in 1970. I attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry, where I graduated in 1974 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. I then moved to Spearfish, where I established my dental practice. I am a member of the American Dental Association®, the South Dakota Dental Association and the Black Hills District Dental Society, where I served as secretary/treasurer for many years as well as serving on various committees. I have been active in local civic activities, serving on the board of directors for the City Recreation Committee as well as serving on the education committee. I have also served on the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry Dean’s Advisory Board. My wife, Jo Conda, and I have six children and eighteen grandchildren. My avocations include working with horses, attending sporting activities and spending time with my family and grandchildren.
