Dr. Rob Loftus earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Neurobiology at Colorado State University. While at CSU, Rob worked in research coauthoring multiple papers published in the field of neuroscience. He also taught in several undergraduate and graduate Biology, Human Anatomy, Human Dissection and Neuroanatomical courses at the university. He went on to complete his advanced dental training at the University of Colorado in Denver. Rob’s extensive educational background has given him a passion for patient care using evidence based dentistry and the most current training and techniques. He continues to expand his dental training through Spear Education, the Academy of General Dentistry, and other continuing educational opportunities. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He and his wife Tera are Rapid City natives and have four children; Thomas, Niccole, Isla and Oliver. They love spending time as a family taking advantage of the Black Hills activities including playing at the park or hiking, climbing, biking, or fishing.
