Dr Jennifer Tung

Dr. Tung is an accomplished Dentist with over 15 years of experience and Dr. Mu’s eldest daughter. She graduated from Caltech undergrad with honors and the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2006 also with Honors, ranked in the top of her class. Having excelled in school, she won numerous top awards for both clinical and diagnostic excellence, including the Academy of General Dentistry Award (for excellence in general dentistry), the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Award (for excellence in oral cancer screening), the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award (for excellence in x-ray diagnosis), the John C. Kois Prize in Restorative Clinical Excellence, the Invisalign Platinum Provider award, and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. After graduation, Dr. Tung started practicing in California where she worked as a dentist in Silicon Valley, first at a busy general dentistry practice, then joining one of the area’s top cosmetic practices. She was also an integral member of the Santa Clara County Dental Society’s Community Relations Committee where she helped organize and participated in the annual Give Kids A Smile event where thousands of underprivileged children received much needed free dental screenings and treatment. She also lectured for this event, giving a continuing education course to the participating Dentists and local School Nurses. In 2009, Dr. Tung returned to the Seattle Area to join our practice. She participates in many local study clubs and continuing education courses and is a member of the ADA, WSDA and SKCDS. She was an Affiliate Faculty Member of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where she was an instructor in the Restorative Dental Patient Clinics. Dr. Tung prides herself on providing high quality care with a gentle touch. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but her favorite part is interacting with her patients. She understands that many patients may have fears, and works hard to make patients feel comfortable and well cared for. Patients appreciate her light touch, attention to details and passion for dental restorations.
