Dr. Donald Curia was born and raised in the San Carlos-Redwood City area. He graduated from San Carlos High School in 1972 and attended College of San Mateo and San Francisco State. Dr. Curia graduated from the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1982 and has been practicing in San Carlos ever since. Since his graduation, Dr. Curia has continued his studies, completing the program at the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.). In this curriculum he learned advanced techniques in the restoration of the dentition, treatment of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and cosmetic dentistry. He later returned to UCSF School of Dentistry and participated in a mini-residency program for the treatment of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and University of Pacific’s mini residency for sleep apnea. Dr. Curia’s philosophy is simple: “Offer all of his patients the best dentistry available and treat them as family.”
