Dr Dilan Munaweera

Dr. Dilan received his Doctorate in Dentistry after graduating from Loma Linda University, California in 2008. He became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2020, further committing to continuing education. He is a passionate advocate of community Dentistry and has received a gold medal for his services from Unilever. Combining some of his favorite passions, Machines, Technology and Patient care he is well suited to provide state of the art Dental Care. Coming from a family of Engineers, he chose to become a dentist with his father’s guidance. Dr. Dilan encourages his patients to be involved in their Dental Health goals in order to achieve best results possible, while being always open to questions he is attentive to each patient’s needs. He made Reno his family’s home in 2010, and has been serving Reno for the past Decade. In his spare time he enjoys camping in National Parks, Photographing Nature and going on hikes with Yoda his English Retriever. Dr. Dilan is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Nevada dental Association and Northern Nevada dental Society.
