Dr. Shihabi earned his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania and MD from Louisiana State University, completing an internship in general surgery at LSU and oral surgery training at the University of Maryland Medical Center and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. A fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he served as Director of Training and Section Chief of head and neck oncology. He is a clinical instructor at Washington Hospital Center, lectures nationally/internationally, and volunteers on mission trips.
