Dr Lisa Nehring

Dr. Lisa Nehring grew up in Wall, SD where she graduated high school in 2008. After graduation, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of South Dakota in 2012. During the summer of 2011, while working as a fee collector at Badlands National Park, she met her now husband, Tyson. While she attended dental school in Lincoln, NE at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, he continued to work as a federal law enforcement ranger. After graduating with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2016, she joined Tyson living in Badlands NP where they resided until 2023. During that time, she worked as an associate dentist in Rapid City, SD. In 2023, the opportunity arose to move to Grand Teton NP; so they packed their belongings and their border collie, Trigger, and moved to Wyoming. In July of 2023, Lisa began working at Alpine Dentistry and has loved every minute of it! Lisa and Tyson got married in the summer of 2024 and will be expanding their family in May of 2025! Lisa is a member of the Wyoming Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentists. She has also been expanding her dental education as a study club member of Spear Education and attending their workshops. Lisa enjoys working with her patients to figure out their individual dental needs and devising a custom treatment plan to address their oral health concerns.
