Dr. Thane Hepworth grew up in the heart of Rexburg, ID before moving as a young man to the St. Anthony area. He developed a strong work ethic at a young age with his job busting tires at his dad’s tire store. His mom always told him since he was a little boy that he should be a dentist but it wasn’t until his college biology classes that this became his goal. Dr. Hepworth attended BYU-Idaho where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and met the love of his life, a small-town girl from West Yellowstone, MT. After graduating from BYU-Idaho, he headed to Minneapolis with his wife and two daughters where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. While in dental school Dr. Hepworth was blessed with the addition of two sons to complete the family. Life took the family to South Dakota where Dr. Hepworth practiced dentistry in a small town of Wessington Springs for two years when the opportunity to come closer to home was presented and he practiced dentistry in Rigby for eight more years. He is excited to be able to bring his expertise and skill all the way back home and opened a practice in Sugar City. Dr. Thane Hepworth enjoys spending time with his family as it is the most important thing to him. He enjoys baseball, snowboarding, building things, working with his family, and just having fun. He and his family love being here and are proud to call it home. Dr. Thane Hepworth is always looking into ways to better serve his patients. He provides a wide array of restorative and cosmetic treatments and genuinely just wants to help people. Dr. Hepworth interacts with each patient with the philosophy of “actions speak louder than words” and does his best to treat every patient like family and ensures they leave the office feeling better than when they came in.
