Dr. James Phillips graduated from Bloom Carroll High School in 1968. He spent two years in the United States Marine Corps from 1971-1973. Dr. Phillips attended undergrad and graduated from Ohio University in 1975 with a degree in zoology. He then received his dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1978. After graduating, he joined his father, Dr. Edward Phillips, who started the practice in 1946, at this location in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Currently, Dr. Phillips shares the practice with his wife, Dr. Diana Phillips, and daughter, Dr. Emily Friedrich. He is the proud father of four children and has 16 grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys working with his sawmill and spending time with his grandchildren.
