Dr Yumna Arif

Dr. Yumna Arif brings 5 years of dental experience as she joins Shwarts Family Dentistry. She practices general dentistry, including the most recent advancements in restorative and surgical treatment plans. Previously, Dr. Arif was part of a private practice in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Arif is a member and is active in several professional dental associations and follows the most effective dental techniques and technology. She finds it deeply rewarding and mutually beneficial to forge meaningful connections with her patients, ensuring they are completely comfortable and receiving the best dental care possible. Dr. Yumna Arif grew up in Connecticut and completed both her undergraduate and dental education at the University of Connecticut. She then pursued additional training in general dentistry by completing a one year residency program at the Providence VA Medical Center in Rhode Island. She and her husband, Raafay, an interventional pain specialist, have a son. When she’s not busy practicing dentistry or running after a toddler with seemingly endless energy, she loves to travel and read. She particularly looks forward to receiving any book suggestions from her patients.
