Dr. Colleen Allen grew up in Hickory, North Carolina, and has aspired to be a dentist since childhood. After graduating from high school, she embarked on her dental journey by earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Following her graduation, Dr. Allen returned to North Carolina to complete her residency at East Carolina University. Having practiced dentistry in North Carolina for nine years, she has now relocated to Virginia. Dr. Allen is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with her patients by building trust, ensuring their comfort during visits, and boosting their confidence in their smiles. She strives to create an environment where patients feel both heard and cared for, addressing their needs on both clinical and personal levels. Outside of her professional life, she is the proud mother of beautiful twin girls who certainly keep her busy. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing the guitar, and kayaking!
