Dr Kevin O’Brien

I wake up every day looking forward to seeing each patient, new or established, and to the relationships I am building with them. It’s great to meet the patients of Dr. Sprinkle and Dr. Young, who’ve been coming to the practice for many years, and I look forward to continuing these relationships, as well as building and continuing new ones of my own. I was inspired to enter the dental field by my father-in-law, Dr. G. Sprinkle. When I saw the happiness in his life, and how rewarding dentistry is for him, I knew it was the right choice for me. I am passionate about providing high quality oral healthcare services for my patients, and helping people in need. I have actively participated in continuing education on topics ranging from implants to aesthetic dentistry. I also have trained in Invisalign® and will continue to expand my knowledge in CEREC® and implant dentistry. It is my goal to have as diverse an offering of services as possible, in order to properly meet the needs of my patients. Professional Memberships: American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association. Personal Life: I was raised in Fairfax and moved to Salem in June 2014. However, I’ve been dating my now-wife, Dr. Wesley Anne, since 2002, and she’s the daughter of Dr. Sprinkle, so I’ve been here quite often. Our home also includes my daughters Kate and Gracie, and Jack, our cat. Outside of work and being with family, I enjoy travel, hiking, and weightlifting.
