Dr Mazen K-A Hussein

Born in Saudi Arabia as the youngest of five children, Dr. Hussein grew up in the west of Ireland from the age of three. Coming from a family of physicians, he found a different calling through his older brother—his best friend—who pursued dentistry. A personal journey with braces for eight years and corrective jaw surgery for an underbite further deepened his interest in the field. Following in his brother’s footsteps, Dr. Hussein attended Trinity College Dublin, where he studied dentistry. During this time, he earned an entrance exhibition for achieving the highest result from his high school, later graduating with first-class honors in academic performance along with an award for the highest results in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Periodontics. After graduation, he moved to Dallas to complete a one-year AEGD before relocating to Virginia. He is a member of the AGD and aspires to achieve fellowship. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hussein enjoys concerts, walking, hiking, cycling, and playing guitar. He is also a proud pet parent to two cats and cherishes time with his chocolate lab back home. Always eager to explore, he is currently discovering as much of the U.S. as possible.
