North Iowa native, Dr. Garman earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2014. Prior to dental school, Dr. Garman graduated with highest distinction from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors in Integrative Physiology and minored in Business Administration. Dr. Garman has been in the dental field for several years and recently made the decision to move back to the area in 2018 to join our DCNI team and raise his family. A member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association and Seattle Study Club, Dr. Garman, in addition, has completed several advanced training courses in clear aligner orthodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Garman enjoys spending time with his wife, Kara and their two kids, Amara and Jordyn and let us not forget about their dogs, Zoey and Nala. When the family events allow for a little free time, you can find him golfing, swimming, spending time outdoors and in typical DCNI fashion of most of our team, cheering on those Hawkeyes!
