Dr Kathryn E. Odland

Meet Dr. Katie Odland. Dr. Odland was born in Sioux Falls, SD, but grew up in West Des Moines. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2013 and previous to that she graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology. She found herself working in Rochester, Minnesota following dental school while her husband, Andrew, was finishing up his residency at Mayo Clinic. Her husband's role took them to South Lake Tahoe last year while Andrew was doing his fellowship. They have now settled back in Iowa to be close to family, which luckily brought her to the Dental Center of North Iowa team! A member of the American Dental Association and Iowa Dental Association, Dr. Odland has completed courses in clear aligner orthodontics and sleep medicine. She and her husband have three kids, Jack, Lydia and Anna and two loveable dogs, Cooper & Koda. Much like the rest of our providers, Dr. Odland comes to us as a true Hawkeye fan! In her spare time, she also enjoys running, skiing, traveling and anything that finds her outdoors. We continue to be so lucky to have her on the DCNI team!
