Dentistry is a dynamic field that combines a passion for helping others with the ability to build lasting relationships, all through science and hands-on work. The field of dentistry is constantly evolving and exploring new ways to improve patient care through techniques, materials and technology. Using evidence-based dentistry, I strive to provide quality, exceptional dental care to our patients in a comfortable and compassionate environment. I grew up in a small town called Blooming Prairie, MN. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in cell and molecular biology from Winona State University. I then attended dental school at the University of Minnesota where I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery. I held an adjunct faculty position at the UMN School of Dentistry until my dental career brought me here to Main Street Dental Clinics. I am currently a member of the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Dental Association® where I participate in continuing education courses to expand my knowledge as it relates to the field of dentistry and patient care. Outside of my dental career, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, reading a good book or doing something active. I really enjoy the beauty of nature and I especially love being by the water (lakes, oceans, etc.). I also love playing and watching all sports with my favorites being basketball and volleyball.
