Dr Camilo Leal,

Dr. Leal was born in Bogota, Colombia. He received his DDS degree from El Bosque University School of Dentistry in Bogota, Colombia, where he also completed a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. He then opened a successful private practice in Bogota, exclusive to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he practiced for over 14 years. Dr. Leal also served as a clinical professor at El Bosque University, and in addition, was a sought-after instructor and lecturer in various training programs in dental implants, teaching advanced techniques to hundreds of dentists in Latin America and around the world. Dr. Leal moved to the USA in 2014 and completed an additional four-year dental program at Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH) at the University of Rochester. He went on to become a full-time Assistant Professor at EIOH in clinical dentistry and dental surgery, teaching the residents surgical techniques for extractions and dental implants among others. Currently he holds privileges in clinical dentistry at the Strong Hospital URMC in Rochester, NY. Outside the office, Dr. Leal enjoys flying planes, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Leal has dedicated his life to the field of oral surgery, teaching colleagues and helping patients for 25 years. He is feeling blessed to be sharing his dedication and experience with our wonderful community at Albion Family Dental. Dr. Leal is offering oral surgery services such as third molar (“Wisdom Teeth”) extractions, and dental implant surgeries right here in our office.
