Dr. Chris Calnon is a native of Rochester, NY. Following graduation from the Aquinas Institute, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from SUNY Geneseo and then his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester. Following completion of his Residency program, Dr. Calnon joined the practice of Calnon & Cilano, DDS, PC. He has also elected to remain active in education and holds faculty appointments at both the Eastman Institute for Oral Health as well as Monroe Community College. Dr. Calnon is a past President and current Treasurer of the Monroe County Dental Society and is currently serving as President of the Seventh District Dental Society, which represents eight counties in the finger lakes area. Recently, Dr. Calnon obtained advanced training in dental sleep medicine and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Calnon attends multiple continuing education courses on both local and national levels. His particular areas of interest are technological advances in dentistry and the benefit this provides to patient care.
