Dr. Wheeler was born and raised in Western New York. She graduated summa cum laude from Canisius University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and then attended the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating cum laude with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008. While at UBSDM, she received the Tucker scholarship based on academic and clinical achievement. Her post-doctoral education continued at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo where she completed a general practice residency with certification in dental oncology. Dr. Wheeler has been in private practice at Caledonia Family Dentistry since 2009. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Seventh District Dental Society. When not at the office, Dr. Wheeler is kept busy at home with her husband, Jason Beachel, and their two children.
