Dr Alexander Powell

Dr. Alexander Powell is a proud California native, born and raised in Chino Hills. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from California State University, Fullerton in 2014, graduating Summa Cum Laude and becoming the first in his family to complete a college degree. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2019. Following dental school, Dr. Powell completed a comprehensive four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UCSF Fresno in 2023. His training encompassed a wide range of surgical procedures, including dental implant placement, ambulatory sedation for dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant head and neck pathology. His residency took place at the Central Valley's only Level 1 trauma center, providing extensive experience in complex surgical care. In 2024, Dr. Powell achieved board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in his field. Dr. Powell is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
