Dr. Jacobsen was raised in a small community in central Illinois, where he grew up playing sports with his three siblings and working in the cornfields with his friends. He later attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in zoology and his master’s in physiology and developmental biology. Prior to attending dental school at Roseman University of Health Sciences, Dr. Jacobsen taught high school biology at a small Catholic school in Utah, where he developed a love of education. As a dentist, Dr. Jacobsen continues to love learning and teaching and all things tooth related. His interests also include sports, traveling, reading, watching movies and Legos, but most of his free time is spent doing whatever his energetic daughter tells him to do. But above all, Dr. Jacobsen’s passion is helping others as he cares for his patients, friends and family with compassion and understanding. He believes that a healthy mouth and a healthy body go hand in hand and strives to be a beneficial part of his patient’s health care journey. Dr. Jacobsen is excited to be a member of the Rocklin community and is excited to contribute to its growth and well-being.
