Dr. Suzanne Hittson is a Texan from birth. Her parents were World War II veterans who practiced dentistry and raised cattle in Rockwall. She graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1985. Seeking adventure, she joined the Public Health Service, serving first in Kotzebue, Alaska, providing care above the Arctic Circle, then in New Mexico and Oklahoma. She and her husband Kevin raised their children in Rockwall.
