Mr Danielle L. Brainard

Dr. Danielle Brainard is a general dentist and the owner of Middlesex Dental Associates. She grew up locally in Portland, Connecticut and then went to complete her undergraduate degree in both Mathematics and Biology at the University of Connecticut in 2016. Dr. Brainard earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UCONN School of Dental Medicine in 2020, where she was honored with the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit and the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award. After dental school, Dr. Brainard completed her General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital in 2021. Dr. Brainard loves the field of dentistry because it allows her to connect with people while improving their overall health and smile. She believes that the most important part of dental treatment is a developing a trusting relationship with her patients as it allows for treatment to be tailored to the individual. Outside of dentistry Dr. Brainard enjoys spending quality time with her family- her husband, James, daughter, Emma, and German Shepherd, Georgia. She also loves horseback riding and rode competitively most of her life. She has a horse, Jake, who she has owned for over twenty years.
