Dr. Tahina Mukit is a board-eligible periodontist originally from Queens, New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from New York University and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She then completed her specialty training in Periodontics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Mukit is committed to providing personalised periodontal care with an emphasis on preserving natural teeth whenever possible before considering surgical options. She is passionate about patient education and strives to create a comfortable, collaborative environment where patients feel informed and empowered throughout their treatment. Her ultimate goal is to deliver the highest quality of care while building trust with her patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Mukit enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exploring new restaurants, and cooking with her husband.
