Dr Colin McCartney

Dr. McCartney is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Science. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry and completed a six-year oral surgery residency at UMKC/Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He’s a proud member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, staying actively involved in the latest surgical advancements, education, and professional standards in the field. “In oral surgery, patient care goes beyond the procedure—it’s about listening, easing fears, and ensuring every person feels safe, understood, and respected throughout their healing journey.” When he’s not practicing oral surgery, Dr. McCartney enjoys staying active on the tennis court, where his competitive spirit shines through. At home, he unwinds by experimenting in the kitchen— especially with his passion for grilling and perfecting his signature salsa recipes, a favorite among family and friends.
