Dr. Boren grew up not far from Rowlett in Mesquite, Texas. From a young age, he wanted to become a dentist and he has never regretted the decision. His favorite part of dentistry is building relationships with his patients. He also loves the challenge of learning about and integrating the innovation and new technology that is constantly improving dentistry practices. After graduating from high school, Dr. Boren went to Eastfield College for two years and then finished his undergraduate degree in zoology at Texas A&M. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry (now known as Texas A&M College of Dentistry) in Dallas, finishing there in 1986. After that, he completed a two-year general practice residency at UT San Antonio Dental School from 1986-1988. He came back to Dallas immediately after and has been in private practice ever since. Our dentist in Rowlett, Dr. Mark Boren, and his team have provided comprehensive, high-quality dental care to patients in Rowlett for over 30 years.
