Dr. Amir Nojoumi grew up in Fair Oaks, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies locally at UC Davis and dental school at Roseman University in Utah where he graduated with OKU Honors. After completing dental school, Dr. Nojoumi continued his post-graduate training for 2 years at the University of Washington, completing a General Practice Residency and internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He followed his time in Seattle by working as junior faculty in the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Colorado. Dr. Nojoumi then completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at the University of California, San Francisco – Fresno, the only Level I trauma center in the California Central Valley. He and Dr. Namiranian met on the surgery interview trail and were co-residents throughout their time in Fresno. After having spent several years away pursuing both academic and personal endeavors, he finally relocated back to Northern California. He worked in a group practice in the Sacramento area before joining the Davis Oral Surgery & Implant Center. His surgical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial trauma, complex oral rehabilitation and dental implants, orthognathic surgery and benign pathology.
