Dr Brenda Acosta

Dr. Brenda Acosta was born in El Salvador, and moved to Kallison Ranch, Texas at a young age. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in business. After working for a year as a dental assistant, she decided to attend the Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas and completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) training at University of New Mexico Hospitals in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Acosta is excited to be back in Texas and serving her community. From an early age she knew she wanted to bring light to peoples’ lives and help them. What drives her is the positive changes she’s able to make every day. Her goal is to forge a relationship with every patient she sees. She says, “I understand the stress and fear that can come with seeking dental treatment. It’s our job to provide excellent dental care in the most comfortable way.” She prides herself in educating patients about good oral health, making them feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Acosta loves to spend time with her family saying, “my family is the reason for everything I do.” She has an identical twin who, while not a dentist, is a scientist in her own right. Dr. Acosta likes to spend her free time running, cooking, and spending time with her dogs – she’s a huge animal lover! Why does Dr. Acosta love coming to work at Gloss Dental? “Dentistry is such a beautiful art to me, I love everything about it. The environment, the attention to detail, the patient interaction, and most of all, the smiles on peoples’ faces!”
