Dr. Buhler was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in a military family. His family found themselves moving every 2-4 years, due to his father’s employment in the United States Air Force. Dr. Buhler has lived in all regions of the United States, while growing up, to include Nebraska, Alaska, Montana, California, Kentucky, and North Dakota. He even lived a term of 3 years in Germany, as an adolescent, while his father was stationed oversees for his employment. Dr. Buhler graduated from Red River High School in Grand Forks, North Dakota. After HS Graduation he went to Utah and attended Utah Valley University on a Cross Country and Track and Field scholarship. After college, he was accepted and received a Military Health Profession Scholarship, in which he then moved to Oklahoma City, OK to attend Dental School at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. This is where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following Dental School he was accepted into the San Antonio Military Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program in San Antonio, TX. He is a member of AAOMS and board eligible for Diplomate status of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Buhler enjoys many activities in his spare time. He has two children, Matthew and Charlotte, which is were he prefers to spend most of his spare time, hanging out with his children.
