I love being a dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that I’ve built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve. My education in dentistry has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where I achieved my Dental Degree with honors at the Central University of Venezuela in 1996; I then accomplished an internship for two years at the Santa Rosa Maxillofacial Surgery Center in Caracas. In 1999, I moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico to complete my Postdoctoral Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. After graduating in 2003, I returned to Venezuela and actively worked in private practice at the Santa Rosa Maxillofacial Surgery Center for eight years. I was also a Consultant Professor in the OMS Department at the Central University of Venezuela since 2004 and a Board Member of the Venezuelan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for four years. In 2011, I relocated to San Antonio, Texas and became a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas, Health Science Center, San Antonio until December, 2014. I am dedicated to the private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, maintaining an academic affiliation as an Adjunct Professor at the Dental School, UTHSCSA one day a week. By regularly participating in continuing education, I am aware of the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results.
