Dr. Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She moved out to California to attend dental school at the University of California San Francisco, where she met her now husband Johannes. After graduating, Dr. Stephanie completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Palo Alto. Through her time at the VA, Dr. Stephanie gained valuable knowledge in how to manage medically compromised patients and treat patients with complex dental needs. Dr. Stephanie is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), San Mateo County Dental Society (SMCDS) and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). She enjoys learning new techniques to provide her patients the best care possible and has attended continuing education courses on implants, sedation dentistry and all-ceramic restorations. She aims to provide a comfortable and positive dental experience for patients, especially children. Her goal is to provide dentistry that is high quality and long lasting. She originally went into dentistry in order to help those who are in need. To that end, she spends a few weeks each year on dental mission trips to places such as Haiti, Honduras, and Kenya.
