Dr. David Gartz was born and raised in Los Alamos, NM and was a graduate of LAHS in 1996. Dr. Gartz began his educational pursuits at Brigham Young University and earned a Bachelor in Science degree in 2002 after serving a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Dr. Gartz graduated Cum Laude from the University of Colorado, School of Dentistry in 2006 and began practicing general dentistry in Los Alamos that year. Dr. Gartz enjoys his time with family. He and his wife, Stacey, are proud parents of 6 children; Hannah, Norah, Eddie, Will, Sarah and Levi. They love to play soccer and basketball together as well as bike, swim, run, and travel as a family. Continuing education has been vitally important to Dr. Gartz. He has completed numerous courses from the American Dental Association, the Dawson Academy, Spear Education Institute, and from the Hands on Training Institute. He is an alumnus of the Dawson Academy, and is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
