Originally from NY, Dr. Stella Stavrou earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. She moved to Los Angeles, CA to complete a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center followed by an additional year as Chief GPR Resident. Dr. Stavrou pursued a residency in Prosthodontics at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at University of California Los Angeles. Her clinical practice includes fixed and removable prosthodontics, complex full mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, maxillofacial prosthetics, and providing high quality specialty patient care. Dr. Stavrou earned her board-certification and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP). She is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP), an associate fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics (AAMP), and an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and West Los Angeles Dental Society (WLADS). Dr. Stavrou is currently working in practice in California and has a part-time appointment as a Lecturer and Clinical Instructor in Prosthodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry.
