After serving a term of service as an army combat photographer in Vietnam, Dr. George Schneider studied biochemistry at the University of California at Riverside and was awarded Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in the subject. He received a D.D.S. degree at UCLA dental school and completed a post-doctorate residency in hospital dentistry, where he treated patients at UCLA Hospital in the areas of oral cancer, bone marrow transplants, prosthetics, oral surgery, and oral trauma. Dr. Schneider’s professional memberships include The American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Redwood Empire Dental Society, of which he is a past president. He has completed advanced training in the area of implants and cosmetic dentistry and continues to be involved in several study groups and advanced courses yearly. A private pilot, Dr. Schneider enjoys flying in his free time, as well as skiing and mountain bike riding. He and his wife Debbie have been living in Santa Rosa since 1983 and have two children Bridget and Nathan.
