Dr. Demetrakopulos was born in Northern California and raised throughout the United States and Europe. She became interested in dentistry at the age of 15 while she was having orthodontic treatment in Germany. Soon after she began working as a dental assistant for a well-known restorative dentist in Nuremberg, Germany. This sparked her enthusiasm for dentistry, and upon returning to the U.S., she enrolled at San Francisco State University and graduated with a BS in Cellular Biology. She went on to attend the University of the Pacific Dental School, where she graduated in 1984. Upon graduation from UOP, she completed a residency with Branemark Implant System. Dr. Demetrakopulos opened her practice in downtown San Francisco, where she created some of the Bay Area’s most beautiful smiles. In 2004, she decided to move out of the big city, and start a practice in the heart of the Napa Valley Wine Country.
