Dr Seokjoon Pang

After nearly two decades of practicing in Korea, I made the life-changing decision to move to the United States in 2012, bringing my skills to a new environment. I attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, While the transition from a leading oral surgeon in Korea to a dental student in the U.S. might seem surprising to some, it allowed me to revisit every aspect of dentistry from a fresh perspective, blending my extensive experience with new knowledge and techniques. Completing my studies at UOP deepened my love for dentistry and brought me even closer to my goal of being a “Super GP.” It was an intense yet rewarding time, affirming that my commitment to dental excellence was as strong as ever. After graduating from UOP in 2014, I dedicated a decade to serving Bay Area patients in oral surgery and implantology. I have also had the privilege of mentoring fellow dentists, sharing the principles of implantology and oral surgery, and demonstrating advanced techniques. As an evaluator within the company, I helped identify dentists qualified for implant work and served as a consultant for challenging cases. This role allowed me to contribute to the profession, ensuring that patients receive safe, effective, and innovative care. Today, with 30 years of experience spanning two countries, I am proud to bring my expertise in oral surgery, implantology, and comprehensive dentistry to my private practice. I consider every patient interaction an opportunity to combine my technical skill and artistic sensibility, offering care that is thorough, compassionate, and transformative. My work remains my passion, a culmination of a lifetime’s dedication to the art and science of dentistry.
