Dr Melanie Holden

I am a true Floridian, born and raised on the east coast. When my family relocated to the west coast, I attended Southeast High School in Bradenton. I earned a B.A. in Church Music from Florida State University while working as a church organist. I went on to dental school at University of Florida. After graduating in 2011, I bought a practice in Lake City, Florida. In 2016 my husband completed his training and took a job as an orthopaedic trauma surgeon at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. We are thrilled to be able to raise our two little girls in this beautiful city. I'm sure you will see them around the office from time to time. Dentistry has been my passion as well as my job, and my staff and patients are an extension of my family. Through continuing education, I am a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. I am also currently a board member for the Sarasota County Dental Association.
