Dr Michael Holbert,

Dr. Michael Holbert is a compassionate and skilled general dentist dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages at Allen Pond Dental in Rutland, Vermont. He believes in a patient-centered approach, focusing on improving not only oral health but also overall well-being and confidence. Dr. Mike’s gentle demeanor and calming presence help patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. Originally from Ogden, Utah, Dr. Mike’s passion for health and science led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Weber State University. He then earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in 2018. During his time in Maine, he enjoyed exploring the state’s natural beauty and participating in intramural volleyball. Dr. Mike honed his skills as a general dentist in Denver, Colorado, before relocating to Vermont in 2019 to join Dr. Joyce at Allen Pond Dental. In January 2025, he proudly assumed ownership of the practice, continuing its tradition of providing high-quality dental care to the Rutland community. He is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements and is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the prestigious Academy of Richard V. Tucker Study Club. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Mike cherishes time with his family, including his wife, their energetic 3-year-old son, and their lovable 8-year-old chocolate lab. He enjoys the Vermont outdoors, indulging in hobbies like gardening, fishing, and cheering on his favorite football team.
