Mr Sophia Koos,

Dr. Sophia Koos is a compassionate and dedicated dentist from Westchester County, New York. Raised in Mount Kisco, she graduated from Fox Lane High School and pursued her undergraduate studies at SUNY Binghamton, majoring in Integrative Neuroscience. Recognizing the significant impact of exceptional dental care on overall well-being and self-esteem, she chose a career in dentistry to help others achieve healthy and beautiful smiles. In 2021, Dr. Koos graduated from Touro College of Dental Medicine in Hawthorne, NY, the first new dental school in the state in nearly 50 years. With its emphasis on advanced technology and comprehensive education, Touro provided her with a solid foundation in dentistry. To further enhance her skills, she completed a General Practice Residency at NYU-Langone Medical Center, a top-ranked hospital according to U.S. News & World Report. During her residency, she gained expertise in various general and specialty procedures, including emergency dental treatment at a Level 1 Trauma Center. In her spare time, Dr. Koos enjoys reading and maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym. She is honored and excited to join the esteemed team at Ashford Dental, where she will utilize her skills and genuine care to help patients achieve and maintain their optimal oral health.
