Dr. Laura Sibrava grew up in Mount Prospect, Illinois. She attended the University of Maryland to study microbiology and dance. After being the only dancing scientist at the university, she moved back to the Chicago area and split her time between performing with dance companies and working as a dental assistant, focused on oral surgery and orthodontics. In 2006, Dr. Sibrava returned to school to complete her master’s degree in biomedical sciences, then went on to dental school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and earned her doctorate. After receiving a master’s degree in dental training, she provided dental care on the Navajo and Apache Reservations to pediatric patients and served as the Chief Dental Officer for Hidalgo Medical Services and their eleven clinics throughout Southwest New Mexico. She holds membership with the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Sciences and American Association of Women Dentists. Living in Phoenix since 2014, she enjoys caring for her patients and changing their lives by providing bigger, healthier smiles.
