Dr. Roger Briggs was born and raised in Montana. He moved to Arizona as a Freshman in High School. While in High School he got his pilot’s license and met the young lady he married. He was accepted into Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He started his practice near the empty intersection of Shea Blvd. and Scottsdale Rd. where he has practiced since 1973. He has a passionate love for the dental profession and has served as president of the Central Arizona Dental Society and was one of the founders of The Mission of Mercy program which serves the needs of the homeless and needy people of the Phoenix area. Dr. Briggs has two sons and a daughter. The eldest son partners with him in the dental practice and his daughter is one of the members of the hygiene team. Son Stephen works in Arizona State government and has been involved in many civilian foreign trips and service programs. Dr. Briggs enjoys hunting, fishing, snow skiing, his dog Tucker, time at the cabin and spending time with his lovely wife Janet and their six grandchildren.
