Dr Serena Tham, a Southern California native, attended UC San Diego for her undergraduate studies, and Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her DMD degree. Over the years of working as both an associate dentist and a practice owner, Dr Tham has treated patients of all age groups, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients. She has also provided care to immigrant and underserved communities by participating in community service projects while living in California’s Central Valley over the last 18 years. Dr Tham enjoys developing long-lasting relationships with patients and has found it rewarding to be able to improve someone’s oral health and put a smile on their face. She also believes in educating her patients, and keeping them involved while formulating their treatment plans together. Having relocated to Seattle two years ago, Dr Tham and her family plan on planting their roots here in the Pacific Northwest and calling Seattle home. Together, they enjoy playing tourist on the weekends, trying out new restaurants, exploring all of the unique neighborhoods, entertaining friends, and creating new family traditions for many years to come.
