Dr. Reidy entered the field of dentistry because of her passion and desire for creating healthy smiles that look and feel great. She enjoys meeting new patients, friends, and families and watching their children grow up. Dr. Reidy has been selected by her colleagues and peers as one of Seattle’s Top Dentists as featured in Seattle Met magazine for the past eight years. Dr. Shana Reidy is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Louis University before returning home to Seattle for dental school. Dr. Reidy entered the field of dentistry because of her passion and desire for creating healthy smiles that look and feel great. Meeting patients, getting to know them on a personal level and helping them to achieve their oral health goals is what drew Dr. Reidy to the dental field. She has greatly enjoyed meeting families and watching their children grow up. Before joining Dental Care Seattle in 2008, Dr. Reidy was part of a group practice in Fort Hood, Texas treating military families. She and her husband were stationed at Fort Hood while her husband served as a dentist in the US Army. Continuing education is very important to Dr. Reidy. Since moving back to Seattle, she has been an active member of the First Hill and Spear study clubs. While in dental school she completed a fellowship in the DECOD clinic with a focus on treating patients with special needs. She has been selected by her colleagues and peers as one of Seattle’s Top Dentists as featured in Seattle Met Magazine in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Staying current in the ever-changing field of dentistry has always been a priority for Dr. Reidy. Dr. Reidy is a proud member of the following: Seattle-King County Dental Society Washington State Dental Association American Dental Association.
