Dr. Joe earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1997. He is a die-hard Iowa Hawkeye fan, enjoys scuba, poker, politics, Cross-Fit (certified trainer), watching sports, and spending time with friends. He served in the U.S. Army reserve, is a member of the American Legion, and is father and grandfather to his daughter and grandson.
