My name is Dr. Erica Grunwald. I grew up in Clinton Township and now reside in Rochester. I attended Michigan State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Lyman Briggs-Physiology. I went on to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and graduated with my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. Upon graduation, I was commissioned as a Navy Lieutenant and began my duty as a Naval Dental Officer. During this time I completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency, while stationed at Naval Station San Diego. After that year of extended training, I was stationed at MCAS Miramar where I deployed with the 1st Medical Battalion in support of Iraqi Freedom. After completing my active duty, I returned home to Michigan and worked as an Associate dentist in a Detroit area private practice for 7 years prior to arriving in Armada. Armada is a wonderful place to practice! In my spare time I like to read, travel, workout and spend time with family and friends.
