Dr. Hastings is originally from Mobile, AL, and is excited to call Shreveport her new home! She studied Biomedical sciences at Auburn University with intentions on pursing a career in Dentistry. Dr. Hastings comes from a strong dental background, with her father being an Orthodontist, mother a General Dentist, and sister an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Resident. Dr. Hastings received her DMD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Hastings completed a 1 year General Practice Residency at UAB hospital in Birmingham, AL. During her additional training, she learned advanced techniques for better treating her patients. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Michael Haydel, and their dog Maya. Dr. Hastings looks forward to providing gentle Dentistry and developing a great Doctor-Patient relationship.
